I enjoyed these jokes.Ī The story is about Charlie, a young boy who has won the chocolate factory of Mr Willy Wonka, the factory owner. I think they are meant for parents and teachers who read the book to the children. Sometimes I didn't laugh about the jokes the writer had made, because they were only funny to younger children. The only thing I didn't like is the book has been written for younger children than I. I already knew that Roald Dahl has a great fantasy, but this is another book to demonstrate that. I looked for an English children's book and I found this one, so I decided to read it.ī I really liked the book, because it's very funny. When I heard we had to read an English book I went to the lending library.
